The ANSN Japan National Center is operated by International Relations Office of JNES on behalf of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan.
The ANSN Japan National Center provides the ANSN DATABASE, which is open to the public, except for some information restricted to the registered users. The registered usurers at the ANSN Japan National Center can freely access the restricted information at Japan National Center and at the other ANSN National Centers (China, Korea and IAEA).
JNES (Japan Nuclear Energy Safety Organization), JAEA (Japan Atomic Energy Agency), RADA (Radiation Application Development Association) and JAERO (Japan Atomic Energy Relations Organization) provide a variety of educational and training textbooks, fact sheets and other information.
ANSN is managed by the Steering Committee (SC). The SC will undertake the activities that will make the ANSN the leading regional forum for sharing existing and new safety knowledge. It will also strengthen the shared ownership of nuclear safety knowledge and the individual country's commitment to ANSN. It will implement closer coordination among National Centers (main servers of the ANSN network) and national centers (servers constituting the network by linking with the National Centers) and ensure the sustainability of the system in the long term.
