ANSN Topical Groups (TG's) are primarily a human network in the framework of the ANSN project and play a key role to exchange experience and safety knowledge within the region. Each TG is composed of specialists from the participating countries, and is led by a coordinator from one of the ANSN National Centres.

During the 2nd ANSN Steering Committee in May 2005, the creation of three new TGs has been approved:

Safety Standards
Emergency Preparedness & Response
